What Is a Hardwood Floor Recoat?
A Recoat is a maintenance process performed on the existing hardwood floor finish. The surface is professionally cleaned and prepared to create the proper conditions for adhesion, followed by the application of a new protective finish coat.
Unlike complete refinishing, the hardwood floor is not sanded down to bare wood. The purpose is to maintain and renew the existing finish when the condition of the floor allows it.
